Monika Myszkowska – Windsurfer
Monika Myszkowska: born October 19th 1994, has been raised in a sporting spirit from a very young age.
She made her first steps in windsurfing in the "Optimist” class at 10 years of age. When she turned 13, she continued her career in the Junior Blc Techno class and now participates in the Olympic Neil Pryde RSX class. In 2009 she won a silver medal at the Polish Championship in the FW class.
Monika’s father and brother set a good example for her:
- father, Grzegorz: National Team and Olympic Team member, he represented Poland at the Olympic Games in Seoul in 1988, was the winner of the 1990 Good Will Games in Seattle, the 1987 Vice European Champion and 13 times Polish Champion.
- brother, Piotr: born in 1990, presently a member of the National Team in the Olympic class, the 2009 Vice-World Junior Champion and 4-time Polish Junior champion.
