„RevitaLife 2018” Scientific Conference

November 22nd - 23rd, 2018 in the Szczecin Ecological Education and Lakes Revitalization Center the second national scientific conference "RevitaLife 2018" took place. The conference was dedicated to the issues of lakes revitalization and restoration. During two-day discussions leading experts and scientists in this field shared their knowledge on the methods of lakes reclamation as well as the results of their research in this regard. They also treated on the problem of water pollution and presented possible solutions to this problem.
Not only members of local government, who face the problems of lakes eutrophication on the territory of their communes every day, participated in the event. Also secondary school students attended, for example students of School Complex no. 1 named after National Education Commission, (Zespół Szkół nr 1 im. Komisji Edukacji Narodowej), School Complex no. 6 named after Stanislaw Staszic (Zespół Szkół nr 6 im. Stanisława Staszica) as well as the I Secondary School named after Princess Elizabeth (Liceum Ogólnokształcące im. Księżnej Elżbiety).
For the purpose of Revitalife 2018 PROTE company had their exhibition stand and Lukasz Bryl, M.Sc., Eng. carried out a presentation on "The methods of conducting revitalization measures in lakes based on PROTE’s experience”.
