PROTE Representatives at a training session organized by the Polish Association of Sanitary Engineers and Technicians in London.

September 3 - 7 2019 representatives of PROTE company – Mr. Pawel Samelak, CEO and Mr. Dariusz Ligocki, Manager of Water Research and Protection Department together with a group of delegates of Polish Water Utilities took part in a training session in London, organized by the Polish Association of Sanitary Engineers and Technicians.
The participants visited a Water Treatment Station managed by South East Water in the city of Barcmbe Mills, which produces about 65 thousand m3/day, that is 65 million liters daily, encompassing more than 14 thousand kilometers of water distribution network, and supplying water to approximately 180 thousand recipients, both individual and of local industry. On the site, the participants had an opportunity to get acquainted with the process of intake and treatment of surface water taken from the Barcombe Reservoir. Representatives and personnel of the local Water Utility carried out a presentation, which showed practical aspects of the implementation of SeaQuest as a preparation, which is used for water distribution network cleaning, elimination of corrosion deposit and sediments as well as enhancement of physical and chemical parameters of distributed water and whose sole distributor on the Polish market is PROTE company. The delegates had also an opportunity to meet Mr. Harold Stiefel, representative of the American company Aqua Smart – manufacturer of SeaQuest preparation. There was also a chance to exchange experience regarding organizational, legal and technical aspects related to everyday problems of producing potable water according to highest safety and quality standards perfecting the art of customer service for its individual consumers at the same time.
The delegates also had an opportunity to meet Mr. Luis Gaspar da Rosa, the CEO of Aqua Knowledge company that is PROTE’s exclusive representative in Portugal and Spain. Mr. Da Rosa had a presentation on advanced IT solutions of Aqua Knowledge dedicated for Water Utilities.
